Who are the parishioners of St. Mark Church?  Some were baptized into the Faith as infants, while others came to Orthodoxy later in life through conversion. Some have been members of the church for 50 years and others have recently joined the parish.  A warm, welcoming, and ethnically diverse group of people, our church family invites you to join us and see for yourself why they call St. Mark their home...

"We were searching for a church where its people embodied Orthodoxy. Not just saying "I'm Orthodox" but actually living the faith through love and understanding of one another. We found such a church.....we found St. Mark."

"It is hard to believe that our family has been members of St. Mark Church for eleven years.  We started looking for a church home when our youngest daughter was a newborn.  We loved the tradition of the Orthodox service and were searching for a liturgy practiced in English.  From the instant we stepped foot into the sanctuary, our family was surrounded with loving smiles and warm greetings.  The love that we experienced during that first passing of the peace remains every bit as genuine each and every Sunday.  We truly have a spiritual family at St. Mark.  The Christian fellowship that we experience has helped shape our children's knowledge of Orthodoxy.  I would encourage any of you who are searching for a loving, spiritual home to come and worship with us."

"When I moved back to the area several years ago, I was looking for an Orthodox church to attend.  I was living in Brookfield, so I had options in the Greater Youngstown, Ohio area as well as Sharon, Pennsylvania.  I attended a Day of Orthodoxy service at St. Mark and was made to feel so very welcome.  I learned from parishioners that evening that some of them came from as far away as Cleveland to attend St Mark.  I was sold!
A wise Orthodox man once told me that Orthodoxy felt to him like a coat that fits.  You know how you try on many different coats but, finally, you slide one on that you know is the one?  St. Mark fits me that way."
